The speakers of Polymatica took part in the work of two streams: IT in the Public Sector and IT in Retail.
Natalia Yashenkova, CMO, opened the IT in Retail conference with the report “The dark side of analytics: why the internal customer is always dissatisfied”. She spoke about the different levels of analytics maturity in companies and that each level has its own pains and ways to solve them. As an illustration, a case for identifying pregnant women was presented. Also several life hacks she shared that will save the retailer from possible mistakes and negative consequences. The Polymatica platform in this case does an excellent job of research when it is necessary to identify factors that signal a change in customer behavior.
Sergey Kulikovskiy, CEO, has become one of the most prominent speakers of the IT in the Public Sector stream. In his speech, he made a special emphasis on the risks and pitfalls of analytics for authorities and other state customers. In particular, he spoke about the importance of the primary elaboration of goals and objectives when introducing analytical tools. It helps not to end up with a black box that produces results that cannot be interpreted. Polymatica has the experience and expertise to avoid such errors.
