POLYMATICA NAMED FASTEST GROWING DATA ANALYTICS COMPANY IN RUSSIA

July 2018

Polymatica are proud to share that we’ve been named the Fastest Growing Data Analytics Company in Russia in 2017, by the CNews Analytics Agency (CNA; part of the RBC group of companies).

In a report focused on the transformation of the data analytics market for Russia, CNews called out Polymatica for its phenomenal growth between 2016 and 2017, with revenues up an incredible 539.3%.

Overall, the market for data analytics in Russia continues to transform, with CNews confirming that it has returned to pre-crisis growth levels, now representing a market of 159 million Euro, just for the top 15 companies in this area.

Such a sharp increase is down to several factors. Solution providers note a more conscious, mature attitude of businesses towards Big Data. They see the opportunity to use their data to solve a variety of tasks: obtaining reports, forecasting growth, reducing costs, ensuring security, etc.

New technologies are also a powerful driver, in particular machine learning and the Internet of Things, with retail, banks and even the sports industry starting to take advantage of artificial intelligence and video analytics.

These changing attitudes and shifts in the market create a real opportunity for growth – one that Polymatica is perfectly positioned to capitalise on. Commenting on the extraordinary growth, Roman Raevsky, Founder and CTO of Polymatica said, “As of the end of 2016, our staff was almost half the size and mainly consisted of developers. In 2017, we grew strongly, increased our sales team and, accordingly, sales and revenue increased. In 2018, we continue to grow and develop further.”
